Lisa J. Lindsay Wicker is a leader and trailblazer
in the field of human resources. A human resources executive
with a major automotive company in Detroit, Michigan, she
is internationally recognized as a leader in human resources
development and training with over 20 years experience in
organizational dynamics and change management.
Among her credits, Lisa served as Corporate
Human Resources Manager of Employee Enthusiasm Strategies,
General Motors North American Operations. She was also Vice
President Human Resources, MGM Grand Detroit - the first African
American female to be named to the position in the company's
international operations. She is Founder and Chairman of the
Board of the 101
Best Companies to Work For in Metropolitan Detroit, a
program that recognizes companies for valuing employees.
Previously, Lisa was an adjunct professor with
Wayne State University's School of Business Administration,
past member of the White House Task Force on Historically
Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and a recipient of
the Career Communications Group National Women of Color Professional
Achievement Award. Through her accomplishments, she was recognized
as "one of the most successful business women in Detroit"
by the Detroit News.
